  1. And when Musa said to his people: Surely Allah commands you that you should sacrifice a cow; they said: Do you ridicule us? He said: I seek the protection of Allah from being one of the ignorant.

  2. So when she brought forth, she said: My Lord! Surely I have brought it forth a female-- and Allah knew best what she brought forth-- and the male is not like the female, and I have named it Marium, and I commend her and her offspring into Thy protection from the accursed Shaitan.

  3. And if a false imputation from the Shaitan afflict you, seek refuge in Allah; surely He is Hearing, Knowing.

  4. He said: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from asking Thee that of which I have no knowledge; and if Thou shouldst not forgive me and have mercy on me, I should be of the losers.

  5. And she in whose house he was sought to make himself yield (to her), and she made fast the doors and said: Come forward. He said: I seek Allah's refuge, surely my Lord made good my abode: Surely the unjust do not prosper.

  6. He said: Allah protect us that we should seize other than him with whom we found our property, for then most surely we would be unjust.

  7. So when you recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Shaitan,

  8. She said: Surely I fly for refuge from you to the Beneficent Allah, if you are one guarding (against evil).

  9. And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans;

  10. And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence.

  11. And Musa said: Surely I take refuge with my Lord and-- your Lord from every proud one who does not believe in the day of reckoning.

  12. Surely (as for) those who dispute about the communications of Allah without any authority that has come to them, there is naught in their breasts but (a desire) to become great which they shall never attain to; Therefore seek refuge in Allah, surely He is the Hearing, the Seeing.

  13. And if an interference of the Shaitan should cause you mischief, seek refuge in Allah; surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

  14. And surely I take refuge with my Lord and your Lord that you should stone me to death:

  15. And that persons from among men used to seek refuge with persons from among jinn, so they increased them in wrongdoing:

  16. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn,

  17. Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men,
