Appears 3 times in the Quran.

1. 20:118 إِنَّ لَكَ أَلَّا تَجُوعَ فِيهَا وَلَا تَعْرَىٰ

   Surely it is (ordained) for you that you shall not be hungry therein nor bare of clothing;
   

2. 37:145 فَنَبَذْنَٰهُ بِٱلْعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌ

   Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick.
   

3. 68:49 لَّوْلَآ أَن تَدَٰرَكَهُۥ نِعْمَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ لَنُبِذَ بِٱلْعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ مَذْمُومٌ

   Were it not that favor from his Lord had overtaken him, he would certainly have been cast down upon the naked Found while he was blamed.
